Pastor's Welcome

I greet all of you in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Welcome to the fellowship of the Oakey Grove Baptist Church in beautiful Evans, Georgia. Thank you in advance for partnering with us in reaching the world for Jesus Christ through the spreading of the Gospel.

The primary objective of every Bible believing Church is the fulfillment of the Great Commission from Matthew 28:16-20. Here at Oakey Grove, we are marching forward and fulfilling Jesus’s mandate through the operative vision. Our vision here at Oakey Grove is “Building People, mind, body, and spirit.” This vision guides the development of relevant ministries that intentionally make disciples within the context of the local church. Here at “the Grove,” we are continuously seeking souls and we are entirely open to the Lord’s leading in leveraging every available biblical resource for developing them.

I invite you and your family to join us in prayer for all humanity, and to come and share with us in worship and the study of God’s Word whenever you have the opportunity. Let’s believe God together that the Lord of the harvest will send more laborers into His vineyard. I personally pray that you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior (Romans 10:9-10), and that you abide

in His love and the koinonia of the brethren. May He continuously bless and keep us all in His care until He comes.
